What is Ex-position?

NTU Studies in Language and Literature, the English journal of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures of National Taiwan University, is to be renamed Ex-position and operated under a new editorial program.

The editorial board of Ex-position is composed of scholars at home and abroad, who play an active part in the editorial and review process.

The transformed journal is devoted to showcasing scholarship in the critical humanities centered on literary studies by scholars based in or interested in areas outside the world’s supposed academic centers.

We publish general articles in literary studies as well as themed sections (what we call Feature Topics).

Please go to “Description” for our editorial agenda, and “Calls for Papers” for calls for contributions to our first two Feature Topics and ways to propose a Feature Topic.

Ex-position will continue the issue numbering of NTU Studies in Language and Literature, and the journal’s status in Taiwan’s academic journals ranking system (Taiwan Humanities Citation Index, or THCI) stays unchanged.
